Cast and Crew Bios
JESKA AMSPOKER (Stage Manager) was once a student of Brad McEntire and after persistent nagging on his part, agreed to work with him again. Ms. Amspoker's past theatre credits, in a variety of technical positions, include How to Succeed in Business…, Dracula, and Lurking on the Railroad among others. With Audacity she has Stage Managed Mint Juleps, Cleveland, Goner, and Single Servings. Ms. Amspoker has also worked recently behind the scenes with Rover Dramawerks and the DFW Playwrights' Alliance. For a day job she enjoys putting in long hours lighting fires as a pyrotechnician for Pyrotex, Inc.
KENNETH FULENWIDER (The Man in a Trench Coat) is excited to be giving his debut performance with Audacity Productions. He most recently portrayed Harvey Wheatcraft in Claptrap as well as Jim in Morphic Resonance, both with Rover Dramawerks. Mr. Fulenwider won a 2003 Dallas Column Award for Best Featured Actor as the 2nd Soldier in Rover's Romanoff & Juliet. He received his formal theatrical training at UNT, where he won the Best Actor Award for his portrayal of Chandel/Poche in the French sex farce A Flea in Her Ear. The love of theatre keeps him coming back again, and again. He has finally moved to Dallas with his best buddy of seven years, the beagle, Elvis Rex. When not involved in theatre he can be found working as a veterinary technician at the Summertree Animal and Bird Clinic or performing karaoke at one of the local establishments.
BRAD McENTIRE (Writer & Director) is native-born Texan and Artistic Director of north Texas based Audacity Productions.
MAURA MURPHY (Claudia the Anesthesiologist) Holds a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from Arizona State University, with a Minor in Theatre. Favorite shows she has been in include: Will Rogers Follies, Vagina Monologues, Love Rides the Rails, Pitching to the Star, Laserfinger. Ms. Murphy's hobbies include dancing, yoga, shopping, decorating, drinking, and napping :) Thanks to Isabella for sharing her wisdom.
JULIE REINAGEL (Waitress Hank) is joining Audacity for the first time. She has also appeared on-stage lately in Our Endeavor's Dainty Shapes and Hairy Apes and Mountainview College's Twilight: Los Angeles. Favorite roles include Viola in Shoestring Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and Evelyn in Reagan Theatre's The Shape of Things.
JEFF SWEARINGEN (Alfred) is sort of a fixture with Audacity productions where he has appeared in Arsenic & Roses (by Brad McEntire), Goner, Burden of a Light Blue Shirt (another Brad McEntire script), and last summer's FIT entry, Cleveland, as the crowd-favorite Panda Hands. Mr. Swearingen also works closely with Shane-Arts and has appeared as Dennis in This Is Our Youth as well as performing with the Commedia dell'Carte group (playing in the Salon du Fit). He is currently collaborating with Wes Copeland and his Wooden Spoon Theatre Company on a project based on Kafka's Metamorphosis. Swearingen can also be seen in the Salon du Fit with the Mild Dementia Continuous-Play Variety Hour, a guerilla-theatre sketch comedy group, where he will perform his signature routine "Origami Jeff", an on-going attempt to fold sixty origami swans in under three minutes while explaining the mysteries of the universe. Mr. Swearingen also has an unwieldy addiction to Red Bull.
TRISTA WYLY (Contessa Hildegarde von Ivonovich Vroom) graduated from UTA with a BFA in Theatre. She works regularly at theatres around town, especially at Pocket Sandwich Theatre where she's been seen onstage in: Shanghai Moon, Shakespeare for the Modern Man - Lesson 2: Hamlet, High School Hellcats in Heels. "Thanks to my wonderful guy, friends and family for supporting me!"
