CAST AND CREW BIOS. . . FROM THE PROGRAM NOTES
Todd Faulkner* (Thomas) is happy to be working with Nichole once again, as well as the rest of the cast. Some of his favorite roles have included Dan in DOWN THE ROAD, Shin Mackintorio in LOBSTER BOY: THE MUSICAL, and King Farquarm the Oily in KINGDOM OF THE SUN (at the FringeNYC '99). Todd has appeared in several independent films as well as on television's Walker, Texas Ranger, Unsolved Mysteries, and as the host of Wordscape, an Emmy Award-winning PBS program. A past member of the comedy troupe Molotov Cockroach, more recently Todd has made several appearances as ringleader of the sketch comedy troupe Horshack Test, for which he has written and directed a number of short films. He will soon be directing his first feature film, Singularity.
Nichole Greevy* (Lydia) is delighted to be working again with Todd, for the umpteeth time. Recent theatre credits include Iris in DOWN THE ROAD, Isebelle in PLAY NICE!, Harold in KINGDOM OF THE SUN as well as writing and performing with the comedy troupe Horshack Test. She received her BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
Jacqueline Kabat (Gladys/ Waitress) graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism. It was in college that she discovered her interest in theater and was cast in the University's productions of MACBETH, BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS, and, THE HEIDI CHRONICLES. Upon her arrival in Manhattan, Jacqueline began studying at the Atlantic Theater Company and was soon cast in the comedy troupe, Endangered Improv. Jacqueline was also one of the founding members of the comedy group Molotov Cockroach. It was there that she crossed paths with Brad McEntire and was cast in his original production of RED PAJAMA BLUES in 1999, at the Expanded Arts Theater. For the past few years Jacqueline has worked as a recruiter at Taylor Hodson, Inc. However, she continues to welcome the opportunity to perform.
Stephen Ross (Rex) hails from many places, including London, Algeria, Boston, and Houston, Texas. He holds a BFA in Theatre from the College of Santa Fe (NM). His recent work includes playing the role of Stephen in his own play WORLD'S A STAGE, produced by Square Peg Theatre Collective, touring with bilingual versions of THE BARBER OF SEVILLE and MORNINGS OF APRIL AND MAY, and performing with the now quasi-defunct comedy troupe Molotov Cockroach. Steve is a former member of the comedy troupe Estranged Bedfellows (NM) and is currently at work writing a new play entitled LOVE & GARBAGE.
Jennifer Ward* (Betsy) recently played the cashier on Sex & the City. Other roles include: Andrea and Bacche in the Adobe Theater's production of ORPHEUS & EURYDICE; Corrine Covington Carr and Gay Lynn Bodecker in Kevin Hammonds' comic soap opera CRESCENDO FALLS at P.S. NBC; Hermione in Andrei Serban's LA DISPUTE at La MaMa, E.T.C.; Desdemona in Joe Calarco's OTHELLO; as well as Betsy in the first production of RED PAJAMA BLUES in '99. Jennifer was also a member of the New York based comedy troupe Molotov Cockroach. She received her Masters in Acting from Columbia University.
Sean Boat (Stage Manager/ Set Design) has worked with the Vineyard Theatre, Second Stage, Adobe Theatre Company, Santa Fe Opera, Santa Fe Stages, Plano Repertory Theatre, and Illinois Shakespeare Festival, among others. He holds a degree from the College of Santa Fe (NM). This fall 2001 he will be designing productions for New York based Square Peg Theatre Collective, in particular a staging of IMMACULATE a new play by Mike Leffingwell.
