ONE
(MORE) DAY ONLY! DAZZLES
The highly truncated twenty-four hour short play festival ONE (MORE) DAY ONLY! on August 17 was a great success. Co-produced in cahoots with the Carrollton-based Rover Dramawerks, O(M)DO! involved fifty or so participants: actors, directors, writers, technical staff and producers. In one frenzied (and, to put it delicately, eventful) 24 hour span of time seven original plays were conceived, written, rehearsed, teched, blocked, memorized and mounted for a near capacity paying audience at Plano's ArtCentre Theatre. Here's what a few of the participants had to say:

Wow!!!WOW!!!WOWWWWWW!!!
That was absolutely crazy and exciting...That was about the most fun I have
had. I have never felt anything like that. The process we went through in roughly
a 12hr period for the actors was un-believable. It taught me so much and showed
me how much I still need to learn. The most important thing, however is to just
get out there and have fun and give it 100% no matter what happens or what the
circumstances are involved. Thanks for letting me play in that space at Plano
ArtCentre. I had a blast and look forward too working with [you guys] again
in the future as well.
Thanks, Jared Mitchell
We just wanted to tell you all what a terrific time we had participating in the recent ONE (MORE) DAY ONLY!!! Everyone we met was just great and so much fun! We look forward to hopefully working with you all some more in the future.
Thanks for a wonderful Saturday! Jeremie and Nicole Cook
