Jeff Hernandez

Associate Visual Artist

The origins of Jeff Hernandez are unknown. Theories range from an escaped zoo animal to an inter-dimensional entity bent on world conquest. Currently the Audacity Art Designer-in-residence and co-editor of THE INSTALLMENT (yes, remember the INSTALLMANT newsletter...), Jeff Hernandez holds a BFA in Fine Arts from Southern Methodist University (TX) where he was recipient of the Dan Wingren Award for Artistic Endeavor. His paintings have shown around the North Texas area in several group shows. Jeff is also a budding writer and videographer, as well as conceptual artist. He recently appeared in the Audacity Production AN APOLOGY FOR THE COURSE AND OUTCOME OF CERTAIN EVENTS DELIVERED BY DOCTOR JOHN FAUSTUS ON THIS HIS FINAL EVENING in the role of the Prince of Devils, Mephistopheles, as well as Mark 2 in Greg Romero's TWO BUBBLES at the ONE (MORE) DAY ONLY! short play festival.

He is currently on the Board of Directors for Audacity Productions, but doesn't like to get his hands dirty doing any actual work for the company. He has produced graphics and publicity designs for numerous projects and productions. Jeff is currently employed by day as a seller of fine used books and frequent childrens' theatre performer... well known as a legendary Eore in Plano Childrens Theatre's WINNIE THE POOH.

His trials and tribulations can be read at: Jeff's Live Journal
