Audacity Productions proudly presented the world-premiere "workshop" production of TANGRAM. This hard-hitting original piece by American College Theatre Festival-winning playwright Jason Stuart ran for three nights, May 2001.

"Workshop means that it will have only bare bones as far as technical production aspects go. The characters and the story of the play are emphasized as it is tried out for the first time in front of a live audience," said director McEntire. An audience feedback discussion was held each night after the perfomances between the audience and the artists.

TANGRAM is a full-length play involving three individuals tied to one another in a complex puzzle. An embittered writer, his new female assistant, and his ex-wife all struggle to get an emotional upper hand as they savagely burrow into each other's psyches. Funny, irrevelant, dark, and tense TANGRAM is the latest work by Audacity Associate Playwright and Quad C Theatre's playwright-in-residence Jason Stuart, whose fisrt play THROUGH A GLASS ONION has been recently published by Samuel French, Inc.
